About Us

The Troop holds its’ regular meeting each Friday night during the school year from 7:30 to 9:30 PM in the St. Raymond’s School Gym, 263 Atlantic Avenue, East Rockaway

For the last 93 years, Saint Raymond’s Parish has continuously sponsored a  Boy Scouts of America Scout Troop. The original Scout Troop (#84) was founded in 1927 and continued through 1954. By 1952, Troop 84 had grown so large, it was decided to form a second Scout Troop (#332), which is also sponsored by St. Raymond’s Parish.

Since the inception of the Eagle Scout award in 1912, over 2,485,473 youths have become Eagle Scouts which is 2.01 percent of all youth who have been members of the Boy Scouts of America since 1910. There were 61,353 Eagle Scouts in 2019. During Troop 332’s 68-year history, our volunteer leaders have brought the Scouting program to 1,283 youths. Troop 332 is proud to recognize that in its’ history, it has seen 154 Scouts attain the rank of Eagle Scout which is 12% of its cumulative youth membership to have attained Scouting’s highest rank.
